Alice works in a range of media including fine art painting, collage, weaving and embroidery. She believes having a multidisciplinary approach has allowed her to keep ideas flowing and to explore a variety of concepts.

Flowers and colour feature heavily in her work, especially through her watercolour collages and often following tropical themes. Inspiration has come from the flowers and plants growing around her whilst living and working in Dubai and more recently from the gardens and walks around the north Devon countryside.

With a background in the History of Art she is often influenced and motivated by the work of other artists, past and present.

She runs a gallery and workshop space in Bideford, Devon. In the gallery you will see a collection of vibrant and often tropical collages, demonstrating a colourful and unique style of illustration, shown alongside skillfully painted portraits.
