Amalea Wolfe van Winden lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband, son and not so standard-Standard Poodle Hario. After living abroad for 12 years and studying in both Paris and Amsterdam, she has moved back to her hometown where it all started. Amalea's influences come from her deeply rooted and everlasting love for nature, animals and facingion with anatomy and natural design.

Her work is a way of way of coming to terms with her longing to fully understand the universe and celebrate the what she feels is an under appreciated reality, that our interweaving with the world around us runs deeper and much more elaborately than we will ever know.
