I’ve been a Muma for 20 years now and yet remain surprised daily by my children. It is the old adage about the wiser you get you realise how little you know!! What I do know though, is colour. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

I love it. If bathing in it was an option I’ d be there, first in line. It makes me happy and my heart sing.

This is what this website is all about. Getting the colour out there.. and since you never want too much of a good thing sometimes I like to have a rest and just draw in black and white. Something for everyone and every home.

At some point we thought it was a good idea to have our 3 kids reeeaally spaced a part. So, we have 3 “first borns” as it were. (Oh hindsight you cruel beast!) That is also code for “spending years immersed in kids art, colour, teaching and giggles.” Not bad huh?

With all of the kids now in school I find myself comfortably ensconced in my art studio, finally getting down to illustrating children’s stories and creating art for others. So that means you can expect a lot more art on here, a lot more frequently, as well as the blog like ramblings of this English woman.

My more boring, less colourful deets: I was born and raised in Hertfordshire England and received a BA Hons in Fine Art, Textiles and Theatre at the University of Chester. I am a fine artist and illustrator, specializing in mixed media, acrylic, collage, digital art and pen & ink illustration.

I have many years of experience creating art, teaching art, and running artist communities. I am passionate about creating community and gathering people to share in life experiences and encouraging the creativity of every individual.

We now live near Exeter, England with Dan and our three children; Zachariah, Elijah, and Ruby.
