Denny Schmickle is an artist, designer, and educator. His studio work is focused on how decoration, ornamentation, and pattern intersect with concepts of culture and identity. His hand-printed silkscreen concert posters for local and internationally touring bands have been featured in a number of exhibitions and publications. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from The College of the Ozarks, and MFA from The University of Nebraska. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.
