A native of New Orleans, LA, Mishalene has lived coast to coast and now resides in Medina, OH. Coming from a background of creatives, her mother painted and sewed and her father was magic in the kitchen. Mishalene's first art was culinary, creating anything she could think of. Isabelle's Ink was developed when Mishalene started to explore more than her kitchen...her artistic palette.

Her daughter, Isabelle Lois, went to heaven the night she was born on Aug 8, 2008. Wanting to honor her memory by doing something only God could have lead her to, the proceeds made will be giving back to their community.
