Art and design by Lisa McKendrick. I am a designer and painter. I like to create designs using textures, line work and geometric art. I focus on creating abstract patterns that are vibrant and colourful, sometimes minimal, with a painterly quality.

I am based in London and grew up in New Zealand with cultural heritage from Mexico. I was impressed by the colourful art I saw during my travels through Mexico and this has stayed with me as a source of inspiration, as have my travels to Morocco and other countries. London also is an inspirational with its trendy areas and street art which I like to incorporate into some of my designs.

I have several items with my own designs from Society6 and am always impressed by the good quality of their products.
