Irina Kivela is 45 years young and curious creative soul .

Since the age of 5 she was creating her art (painted sea pebbles) and selling them to the tourists at the doorstep of her house in the beautiful town of Rovinj on the Adriatic coast. She was just 15 when she exposed her works on the very famous street exhibition "Grisia". It means next year will be 30 years of her creativity to celebrate!

In that period of time she managed to have many group and personal exhibitions. She is a passionate painter, bold with colors, very able to combine different techniques, experimenting with stiles and always surprising. In her work the inspiration can be anything , but lately she is all into pomegranates which actually suits her much. Her head is full of great ideas like pomegranate is full of delicious seeds, her favorite fruit and symbol of her home town. Several times she was involved in international projects, performances, festivals, fairs etc. collaborating with a lot of artist from different fields. With her best friend Irena Kotiga they developed the 5R concept and based on it last 10 years they are running the Iria Art Collective. As a book lover she is very proud of the fact that she illustrated 3 books for children, one book of poems and an educational book with table playing cards in the last 4 years.

In 2018. she started a new artistic collaboration with Lumenartist a very famous light artist from Germany/Hungary providing the artwork for the art projections.

Irina is not just about art, she is very passionate about people and running very successfully an apartment rental in her small town. So far in the last 8 years she is rated as super host not just because of her warm heart but also because the warmth of the house she decorated and designed for a unique transformative experience.

I will now try to make it short ...she is intriguing , authentic, in love with life, self-conscious, mind full, activist for a better present time , awaken, free spirited, she likes to say low scale artist and proud mother of two almost grown-ups. Encouraged by many friends, family ,professionals world wide she decided to celebrate 30 years of her passion for art with love and gratitude with Society6 and inspire and bring happiness to others.
