Maina Lines is a self-taught artist born and raised in Nairobi Kenya. He creates his art using line patterns as the foundation. With such a base, his artwork has three different layers that blend to one cohesive painting and can individually be a standalone piece of art if separated. The first layer is the basic subject, usually a face or abstract shape. The second layer is the line patterns and the third layer is a hidden message in the line patterns that comes into some of the paintings he does.
