Originally from a small town an hour east of Charlotte, I attended NC State University where I double majored in Communication and Film Studies. I have a beagle, named Macey and I’ve lived in Raleigh for over 10 years.

My first camera was a 35mm Canon that my parents purchased for my thirteenth birthday. I fell in love with black and white photography and experimented with different framing techniques and lighting. When the digital age struck, my dad purchased his first DSLR, a Nikon D-50. He gave this camera to me one Christmas as a loan to “see how I felt about it” and he still hasn’t gotten it back! Photography is a passion me and it is exciting to watch memories be frozen in time.
